Our journey towards creating superior protection against ski lacerations began with extensive testing. We spent eight months developing, conducting, and analyzing tests, moving beyond standard methods like EN388 and ANSI, which failed to replicate real skiing conditions.
In our pursuit, we discovered substantial variability in cut resistance among 220+ fabric samples. Most competitors' fabrics lasted only 5cm to 27cm against ski cuts, while only five out of 220 fabrics resisted cutting completely. From this small number, we meticulously re-engineered one fabric to create VIX, tailored for ski racers' specific needs.

Our core material, Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), surpasses steel's strength by 15 times and outperforms Kevlar by 40%. Unlike Kevlar, it offers UV and chemical resistance, remaining intact against moisture, salt, and light exposure. Our chosen UHMWPE supplier, while lesser-known, distinguishes itself with exceptional quality and consistency.

During construction, ensuring both protection and comfort is paramount. We engineered our yarn and knit structure to be soft, flexible, and wearable on any part of the body, including joint areas. Tested by 15 top World Cup ski racers, our leggings offer excellent comfort and performance. Our focus was not just on making a more comfortable protective gear but on creating the comfiest leggings available. By utilizing 3D knitting technology, we've produced leggings that are incredibly comfortable and free of weak points, as we've eliminated traditional seams.
