How does it differ from the VIX Cut Pro? Cut Pro is the most cut resistant fabric that can be made with existing technology and still worn against skin. Cut Pro is what you might call /ridiculously/ cut resistant - we’re always trying to push the limits, just like skiing pushes ours. With Cut Pro, we took the 5-star FIS test maximum and blew miles beyond it, just to prove that we could. With Comfort Pro, we aimed to strike the perfect knife’s edge balance between Lululemon comfort and total cut resistance - resulting in a ridiculously comfortable fabric which still reaches the maximum test result of 5 stars with ease.

We're confident that Cut Pro is the most cut-resistant athletic fabric that can be made with existing technology. We saw the 5-star FIS test maximum as a bare minimum. In our tests, Cut Pro easily passes 7 stars - if the FIS scale went that high. 

The Engineering Cut Pro came from one question: What's the limit? We took military-grade materials that can only be described as "ridiculous" - tungsten, graphene, and UHMWPE - and knitted them into a supple, stretchy fabric. Nobody's done this before. And nobody probably will either - this fabric is so advanced and expensive for us to make that truthfully, it makes no sense - But we're building protection for athletes skiing 80mph with 4 blades strapped to their feet, so our motto isn't "good enough" - it's Never Compromise.
